The story is relatable, the characters have depth, the plot isn’t superficial, and the situations mirror those experienced by viewers themselves. The series excellently portrays a modern Norwegian family navigating happiness, sorrow, and the full spectrum of emotions in real human relationships. 6. Ronja, the Robber's Daughter

From the author of the legendary Pippi Longstocking comes the story of a curious girl born into a gang of robbers in medieval Scandinavia.
